Patient Warning re Bogus Emails

We have been made aware of a bogus email sent to patients, informing them that they will be de-registered from their GP Practice unless they confirm their contact information. The practice name is not mentioned, but just named as ‘ your local practice’. Please contact us directly if you are unsure if a communication has actually come from us. Text messages and letters that ask patients to provide their personal details is on the rise and we would like to remind patients to be vigilant to this and never give out any personal information and always contact the practice if they receive any suspicious communications.
